Earlier this evening approximately 40 members attended Wandsworth Chamber's Annual General Meeting, chaired by Douglas Shanks FCA.
Annual report (Chris Wyatt, Chairman)
A very competent review of the past year suggest that the chamber is looking forward to the years ahead with the introduction of a new membership fee structure which add a new category for smaller retailers, starting from £49 per annum before VAT. The directors have also made sensible adjustments to the middle and higher level fees for brand retailers, banks and other big business names.
Election of officers
Chris Wyat continues as chairman of the chamber and Steve Pinto has agreed to step forward as Wandsworth Chamber's new vice chairman. Lyles Morris were re-appointed as the chamber's auditors and Russell Cooke continue as the chamber's legal advisers in 2011-12.
Presentation of accounts
The membership has held reasonable steady during the year although overall revenue was slight down, due to a lack of social and other networking events.
